Greenburgh Central School District Educational School Climate Survey

What is the Educational School Climate Survey (EDSCLS)?

  • The Definition: The Educational School Climate Survey (EDSCLS) is a state-supported, research-based tool designed to measure the conditions for learning in our schools. It captures the perceptions of our students, parents/caregivers, and staff regarding the school environment.

  • Why It Matters: High-quality school climate data is critical for district leadership and school building teams to:

    • Understand the day-to-day experiences of our school community.

    • Make data-driven decisions regarding school safety, social-emotional learning, and resource allocation.

    • Monitor our progress toward our District Strategic Plan goals.

    • Ensure a welcoming, inclusive, and affirming environment for all Greenburgh students.
