WAYS THAT YOU CAN SUPPORT OUR STUDENTS

PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION

Greenburgh Central School District has a Parent-Teacher Association. The PTA seeks to promote the welfare of the children in the home, school and community by encouraging communication and cooperation among all three groups. The PTA sponsors programs and supports activities in all the schools.

Each school has a PTA that functions independently with a connector, the PTA Council. Each building PTA is represented on the Council by its President or an alternate. Parents are urged to attend PTA meetings and Council meetings. PTA dues, which are nominal, are set by each building’s organization and are collected by mail solicitation and at Back to School Night. Dues, which include membership in state and national PTA, supplement the fundraiser monies that help to finance various projects of the PTA.
