K–8 Curriculum Maps

Curriculum mapping is the cornerstone of our educational journey here in the Greenburgh Central School District, providing a roadmap for students and educators along the teaching and learning process. It is a dynamic activity that enables charting the course of learning in a systematic and comprehensive manner, tailored to meet the unique needs of our diverse student population.

We are excited to introduce our curriculum maps, which serve as resources for students, teachers, and parents. By clicking on the link below, you will gain access to these maps, allowing you to explore the curriculum for various grade levels and subject areas that are specifically designed to align with New York's educational standards.

Currently, our K–8 English Language Arts (ELA) and Math Curriculum Maps are live and available. These maps provide detailed insights into the content, skills, and learning objectives for each grade, ensuring a smooth transition from one level to the next, all while meeting the rigorous standards set by the New York State Education Department. In addition, the curriculum maps highlight our commitment to the International Baccalaureate frameworks.

We are committed to continuously enhancing our curriculum offerings to meet the evolving educational landscape in New York State. In the coming months, we have plans to expand access to curriculum maps to encompass more grade levels and subjects, ensuring that our students receive a well-rounded and comprehensive education that prepares them for success.

Together, we can empower our students with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in our vibrant community. Click below to access the K–8 Curriculum Maps and stay tuned for updates in the future.
